This past weekend I drove south again (but a little further this time) to the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn to participate in the Toasted Wedding Event. Greenpoint happens to be my old neighborhood from my later years at Pratt Institute and it was nice to be back in the area to meet some new couples.
I shared a lovely Saturday visiting with some friends who reside in the area who took us to Smorgasburg for street food and a variety of bars for continuous afternoon drinks. Sunday I arrived in the morning at the Brooklyn Night Bazaar to set up my table. The event had a steady line of couples, great music, and tasty cocktails. There was so much traffic at my table that I almost ran out of business cards! Luckily my husband had a few in his pocket that we were able to replenish the table.
The fellow vendors were amazing and sweet as well! I look forward to some future collaborations with a few of them with meetings already in the works. And the vendor gifts of pina colada cotton candy, chocolate cake, and cold brew coffee made our two and half hour drive home so much better.
