Local couple Maghan and Nick planned a beer filled wedding spanning both Troy and Albany. They had their intimate ceremony officiated by Ritualisms at the Lucas Confectionery then guests crossed the river to downtown Albany for the reception at restaurant and bar City Beer Hall. Like I said their nuptials were beer filled with beer growlers as vases and table assignments by brewery, beer bottle opener favors, hop buds scattered about, and instead of the ceremonial cutting of the cake the couple poured each other beers as husband and wife! I created a golden bike wheel ceremony backdrop in honor of their love of cycling, hand printed coaster place cards, and labels for their beer bottle seating assignments. And even though it was an unseasonably warm day (90 degrees in May) and the venue had no AC the couple and their guests didn't let the heat get them down. Just goes to show when something doesn't go perfect on your wedding day just remember why you're there, who you're with and don't sweat it!
